Wow, I found parasite today from sushi....
My wife and I ordered combination sushi. When we got it, it looked ok, but my wife soon found alive little worm on one of sushi. I touched it and it was moving! I already had one of them...
I asked chef to make a new dish but he just replaced that one not the whole dish. And no management showed up to apologize.
We have been their customers for 10 years but we are not going there any longer.
Now, I feel my stomach is sick....
No way... Nagasaki had a polite staff, but the food was just not very good AND EXPENSIVE. You had to pay extra for fried rice. The food was way too salty. The soup tasted...horrible. And the dressing on the salad was really just gross. I didn't try the sushi, so I can't say anything about it. However, if you want the best hibatchi, make the trip to Ginza in Frankfort. It is the BEST. The sushi is amazing. Everything about the hibatchi is awesome. I highly recommend that place.
Pshhhh. No thanks..... Expensive for the quality, decent service, sticky tables and just not an overall nice and/or exciting sushi bar. The sushi just kinda sucked. I make my own 10 times better than they ever could. It just didn't taste fresh and/or bright.
I never expected this.. I have never been a so called Japanese restaurant like this in the US. Atmosphere and service were good, but I was looking for good Japanese food. Tempura had too much crust, ramen noodle was overcooked and the worst of all, steamed rice seemed to be cooked long time ago and left in the jar for a long time and turned yellow. Nothing compares to the freshly cooked rice, white and shiny. Above all, my bill was too high for that food. I will never go back again.
Good sushi, Average Hibachi. Dining at Nagasaki is overall very pleasant. You can choose to sit at hibachi tables of eight (you will be joined by other diners if you are a small party), or the sushi bar area. There is also a traditional Japanese dining area. The ambience is neo-traditional Japanese and disguises well the fact that you are in a strip-mall. Sushi was very good, some of the best I have had. Hibachi entrees were average and fairly costly for what was offered ($22 for scallops). Vegetarian options are very limited (appetizers and sushi).
Excellent. I met my wife here on a blind date. Now we celebrate important events here. While waiting for a table if there is a crowd you can sit among aquaria full of interesting tropical fish or explore the sushi bar. I'm not an expert on sushi (and my wife won't touch it) but I enjoyed it. The food is prepared right in front of you at tables that seat eight. If you are a smaller group, be prepared to share a table and make friends...No problem. Excellent service and the prices are less than other Japanese restaurants nearby.
