Bad Experience

My daughter ordered her bridesmaids' dresses and maid of honor dress along with a veil at Ruth's bridal. We were pressured to "hurry up to get our order in so that they would be back in on time. The veil that came back was the wrong one, and the dresses came back late without the matching jackets. I feel that they just told us whatever to get our money for the sale but do not stand behind what they tell the customer. The dresses there are beautiful but the customer service is sorely lacking. I would not recommend this business.

Great Experience

I would recommend Ruth's to anyone I know in the market for a wedding dress. I recently purchased my dress there and it was a great experience. The sales staff was incredibly knowledgeable, listened to what I wanted, and found the perfect dress for me! Unlike other stores, where I had to dig through racks myself to find what I wanted (even after making appointments with consultants..) the people at Ruth's showed me dresses just like I asked for.

• Pros: Had lots of dresses I hadn't seen anywhere else, very unique! Service was great!
• Cons: It is a little pricey, but definitely worth it.

Absolutely horrible customer service and inaccurate information.

My daughter shopped and ordered her bridesmaids dresses from Ruth's Bridal. She was assured by staff present that indeed they could match the men's vest and tie to the royal blue color of the dresses. When the groom went to be fitted, uh, no we can't match that. We would not have bought the dresses there if they had been honest at first. Then, when the dresses came in, one was too small. They do not alter, send back, apolozige, try to make it right, nothing. You are on your own after they get your money. So at more expense we have to have the dress altered. These are not cheap dresses but the customer service certainly is. I do not know how they stay in business. Don't go to Ruth's Bridal for anything except a headache, an expensive one!

• Pros: Clean
• Cons: Do not attempt to help a customer navigate sizes, measuring, telling the customer if sizes run small/large, etc. Everything is just peachy keen. Just sign your name.

Really Listened

After trying on Hundreds of dressed in a ton of shops, my party stumbled into Ruth's Bridal! A consultant went to work right away, She pulled a tone of dresses that were beautiful but not quite my style. Since i am getting married on the beach, i didn't want a heavy or "puffy" dress. I wanted a very light and breezy dress with a lot of chiffon! Other consultants tried to push pricey dresses that were nothing like what i wanted. The ladies at Ruth's were not like that! They really listened to what i had to say. They brought me a brides maid dress that was exactly what i had in mind, although it was ruby red! It was perfect and they let me order it white! As i was leaving, i was so happy, i actually cried! They did not push any dresses that i did not like! And i also ended up buying my brides maid dress there. They also offer a 15% discount for people who buy a wedding dress and bridesmaid dress at the same time, and even though my dress was technically not a wedding dress, they gave us the discount anyway! And if that was not enough, they even kept the shop open late, to accommodate my schedule! What a great place! Their patience and the way they listened to what i was saying was greatly appreciated!

• Pros: Patient staff that really listens! Beautiful dresses that can be ordered in any color!
• Cons: Small dressing rooms.

Fantastic selection and service

Contrary to the other review I had excellent service the entire time!!! Wedding dresses take forever!! (months) to get NO MATTER WHERE you get them!! That's why you are supposed to get them so far in advance. These ladies weren't the pushy sales people that I had dealt with everywhere else!! Thanks!

• Pros: Service, they weren't pushy like other places
• Cons: Smaller boutique, but they can order you anything!!
