First and last visit - Total rip off. Charged almost 450 $ for 20 min visit. They had no clue. Do yourself a favor - buy vet book from Amazon and your treatment will be better than from this people. Only credit card machine works very well. What a nightmare. My cat almost died

Incompetent. I just moved to town and my cat was having problems. I took her to Tates Creek Animal Hospital and paid them $200 for a half hour visit and complete misdiagnosis. When I called back to try to get help I was very polite and they told me they SEND ALL THEIR CAT REFERRALS TO ANOTHER VET!!!

Needless to say, I never went to their "recommended" Vet, but I did find help for my kitty.

Save yourself a nightmare and avoid Tates Creek Animal Hospital at all costs!!!

Dr. McClain is great, but Dr. Quigby is horrible. I have two dogs, the first one saw Dr. McClain and I had a wonderful experience with him and his assistant. But then when I brought my second dog in, I got stuck with Dr. Quigby who masks incompetence by being aggressive with pet owners. She is one of the newer vets in the practice and sees the clients who don't know any better to ask for someone else. I will NEVER see her again for my dogs. She just ran up the bill with worthless things, some of which I had told her not to do, but she did them anyway. Getting any prescriptions from her is also like pulling teeth because she is the smartest person in the world, with the wrong advice.

I only continue to go to this vet practice because if Dr. McClain and the others.

McClain is the best. Dr.McClain is the best vet i've ever come in contact with i've had a few dogs in my life (and a few more vets) but Dr. McClain is the most knowledgeable vet I've met. Also the staff is top notch very caring nice people who love their jobs. You can tell the staff really cares and have a true passion for their careers if your looking for a real good vet look no further that TCAH even if you live a bit fruther out its well worth the drive.

Gotta Love Dr. McClain. We've taken our dogs to Dr. McClain since 2001. I've found him to be very loving with our pets and highly professional. Office staff has always been cordial and helpful with our needs. I would recommend this office and in particular, Dr. McClain, for your vet needs.

Terrible place to take you your pet. I recently visited the Tates Creek Animal Hospital because my dog was depressed due to the new arrival of a puppy in the house. The veternarian Dr. Quigley took one look at my dog and recognizing that she was a Stafford Shire came up with her treatment plan. She flat out asked me if I had thought about the option of putting my baby down. Instead of thinking of a treatment she recomended that I let her take my babys life because she was depressed. I have never had my dog treated in this manner in my life. She is a sweet dog, she was just depressed.
