Beyond thankful for the very talented Lauren Morgan. Lauren always does the perfect cut or color then styles it to perfection. She has styled my hair for my engagement pictures, my sisters wedding and put in extensions for my wedding. I give her all the credit for my beautiful wedding pictures. She is very passionate about her clients and goes the extra mile to learn the newest trends. She is also amazing at manis and pedis. I highly recommend her. She is one of a kind!!!

Always extremely happy with my cut and styles at Posh with Lauren Morgan. My mom and I've both been going to Lauren for the past 3 years. When I cut 8" off my hair to donate, she was the only one I would trust with this task! She is great with layers, bangs, and spends a lot of time teaching you how to style your new cut. She is the sweetest thing and I absolutely highly recommend her!

Amazing cut and color by Rhonda Nufrio! I visited Rhonda at Posh to make a drastic change to my hair, cutting off over six inches and trying a completely new style. She recreated the picture I brought with me exactly and it is so well cut that I barely have to do anything to it-- just blow dry and it falls into place! I've also visited Rhonda for Hairdreams hair extensions and was very pleased with the results. She is very skilled and passionate about what she does, always taking the time to make sure you know which products are best for you and that you know how to style your hair when you get home. She is hands-down the best stylist I've ever found in Lexington!

The frist time I went to Posh Salon I asked for a standard men's haircut. My 'stylist' literally cut my hair for approximately 30 seconds and then proceeded to blowdry my hair for 20 minutes and asked if that was satisfactory. Absolutely not! I came to get a haircut, not to have my hair blow dried. I had to insist that she cut more hair before she finally agreed. The second time I returned I asked for a different stylist, Rhonda. Rhonda did a much better job and for the time being I was content, even though it was definitely no where near the best hair cut I had ever received. The second time I returned, I called ahead to make an appointment. When I arrived, I was told that Rhonda was running behind, only to find out that she was just then beginning to cut another customer's hair. I waited around for 30 minutes and when she was still not done I was forced to leave because I had a meeting to attend. I was offered little to no condolences as I informed the front desk that I had to leave. I suppose they thought that I called ahead to make an appointment just for fun, not because that was actually when I needed to have my haircut. While I understand that sometimes you may get behind schedule, there is absolutely no reason that I should have been forced to wait that long at 10:00 in the morning after I had called and made an appointment. Their complete disrespect for their customers' time and frankly their inability to provide adequate services assures that I will NEVER return to Posh Salon, and I do not recommend that you venture to this establishment either.

I've been to Posh several times now. Each time I leave I ask myself why I keep returning. A relatively convenient location and both spa and salon services in one spot are not enough to make up for overpriced services and unprofessional staff. I've paid for makeup, hair, mani/pedi and massage services.

To begin with, the staff at the front desk have consistently greeted me as though it pains them to even smile. I wouldn't say they're rude; it's more like they're so self-involved and chatty with one another they barely have time for a hello. 'This darn checking in clients interferes with my social time!' kind of situation. It also never fails that I hear a complaint about a personal issue, work issue, telephone call, a break that was too short. I have a job, too, so I know work is hard. However, I would never allow a client to think where I work is anything but wonderful. It's very unprofessional to sit and complain in front of customers. This doesn't end at the front desk.

Now for the actual services.

The one makeup experience was worth what I paid. I had airbrushing for an event I was attending and have no complaints. The mu artist was great, had great suggestions, and I was very happy with the outcome.

I've had a few massages there, and perhaps there was an overbooking issue, but the massages were midday, yet each time it seemed as though the masseuse was a little worn down. One masseuse complained to me about how many customers s/he had that day. I felt for her/him, but with my own work pressing in my mind, I didn't want to take on her/his issues as well. It's a massage! I'm paying you to help me relax. I prefer Nourish on Walton Ave and The Massage Center downtown.

I've never been happy with anything I've had done in the hair salon. I've had cuts, colors, styling. Admittedly I haven't had my hair done at Posh in a couple of years, but I continued to give it try after try for as long as I could, hoping one day I would find a stylist who fit with me. I won't get into details of the experiences and conversations/complaints among hair stylists, but let me just say I was unhappy with my experience every time. Now I go to Darryl's on Walton Ave and also like Cha Cha's in Chevy Chase.

I've had many mani/pedis at Posh, and yet again I have been subject to conversations about long workdays and not enough breaks (and breaks are too short). The ladies, while polite enough, get caught up in conversation and are so distracted by their own woes that my nails have rarely looked professionally done (I feel this is an issue with hair stylists as well). Then I'm charged $48 for a rushed, sloppy pedi. I could list a number of other spots in town I prefer over Posh for a mani/pedi, though I most often visit Foxy Nails in Hamburg.

I've never had any facials, chemical peel, or microderm, so I can't speak on that, though I can say I've enjoyed all visits at SkinSecrets, BeMed, and lately Ageless, for those needs. Because of other experiences, I will never know what facial services at Posh are like because I've made my last trip there.

I can understand the exhaustion of the staff at Posh, because there is always hustle and bustle. Clearly Posh is a popular place frequented by lots and lots of women. I would ask if I'm missing something here, but having been to a wide variety of other salons in town I realize it's other Posh clients who are missing something. I have spent years now leaving Posh and considering writing a review. Each time I decide no, I won't do that. We all have a bad day, an off day. I'm all about giving the benefit of the doubt. After so many years and numerous visits, I think I have had enough experience there to determine that my overall experience has been overpriced and underwhelming.

Great experience!. I was recently given a recommendation by a friend to book an appointment with Andrea Zinser at Posh Salon and Spa, for a Brazilian Wax. This being my very first, I was very nervous and a little unsure. From the moment I arrive I was met and introduced by Andrea herself. What an instant comfort I had right off the bat with her! Andrea explained everything step by step and was as gentle as could be. I had a very good experience and look forward to returning for many other services she provides

So warm and relaxing!!!. For valentines day my husband bought me a package from Posh and at the time I did not realize what I had gotten. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted by the desk and recieved a menu to choose what lunch I wanted. I thought, this is a good start. Andrea then took me back to change into my robe. After I changed she then escorted me back into the most tranquil room for my facial. I t was amazing and she made recommendations on products to help me with some of my problem areas. Then was my massage and im not sure of his name but after the facial Im not sure how long my massage was before I was asleep. I know, my loss but it gave me a good excuse to come back. Then I had manicure and pedicure before my lunch was brought to me in a private room. I could go on and on about the remained of my day which included a shampoo, style and makeup but let me just say my husband earned major brownie points for this gift!!! It was so nice and relaxing that I did not want to leave. The staff was very professional, friendly and fun. Needless to say i told my husband that I wanted one for mothers day, anniversary, birthday and christamas!!! Way to go Posh!!! You truely made me the princess for the day!!!
