Sales guy is nice, but seemed kinda spacey.
Customer service lady Joanna/Joann super nice.
Reason poor scoring: ordered a couch he said it would be here in a few weeks. I took " few weeks" as 2 or 3 weeks later.
After 7 weeks stil no couch. I have had the run around with almost everyone that works there.
THis is my last time shopping here. And I intend to share my disappointing experience with others. In my line of business, I come talk to a lot of people who are relocating to Lex and renting/building houses.
The last I have been told is that it would be here in 2 weeks. So if that is the case 9 weeks to get a couch! Wow!!!! Guess we'll see...

If youlike being told the truth....go elsewhere.. I had a HORRIBLE experience with them. I was told twice that a sofa I ordered would be in and TWICE it never came. I even went in to the store to pay for it before it came and they looked up on their computer when it would be arriving and told me it would be there. When that day came and we went to pick it up the sofa was no where to be found and was on a truck arriving the next day. Apparently their employees do not know how to use their computer system and you must lie to the customers to be employeed there. Take your money and your time somewhere else....unlike you enjoy being lied to and treated like you are an inconviencing them. Since when is it okay to treat customers like this? Worst place of business I have ever purchased anything from. I would have not chosen any star if that could have been an option
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I HAVE PURCHASED NEARLY A WHOLE HOUSE FULL OF FURNITURE, TWICE. I HAD A HOUSE FIRE AND SMOKE RUINED EVERYTHING. I CALLED FURNITURE WORLD AND JUST SAID DITTO MY ENTIRE ORDER. THEY DID AND FOR THE SECOND TIME, EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STORE.

These folks will not work with you if you have a problem with your order. This has happened to me on 2 sets ( seperate orders ) Problem is I should have learned from the first time.
Item was defective from manufacturer and they were VERY unwilling to help me resolve. No returned calls, very standoffish. I HIGHLY suggest spending your hard earned money elsewhere.

A Great experience and puchase!. A terrific furniture buying experience! The entire staff was helpful and friendly. My furniture came in early and was delivered to my house ON TIME!!! I will definitely buy here again!
Go to LexingtonOverstock's warehouse on Nandino before you buy..same stuff for less (google it). I came to Furniture World thru a recommondation of a friend. I thought everyone was a little standoff-ish, and when I finally got a salesperson, I thought the saleperson was kinda pushy, asking me over & over what a wanted to do today... We went to LexingtonOverstock's warehouse sale after we left and found the same exact bedroom for $200 less. And they didn't charge near as much for delivery. They were very nice, help guys & I would recommend them very highly.
great experience, will go back. I bought a couch and loveseat for $150 less than I could find it anywhere else I looked. Delivery was $20 cheaper too. Good overall experience, will go back next time I need something
Terrible customer service. Furniture World Superstore has terrible customer service. When purchasing items, the salesperson was dishonest about delivery of items. When my items came in, I had to pay to have them delivered and they were very uncooperative about times available for delivery. I eventually got tired of the hassle and gave up. I cancelled the delivery only to hire someone to pick up my furniture. I would have cancelled my whole purchase, but apparently there is a no cancellation/refund policy that was never explained to me.
