I have been a cutomer of Japanese auto for many years.I used to own a mazda rx7 and they worked on the rotory engines and they did a grat job.Now I own a pest control company with 7 trucks and they are the only ones I would ever take my trucks to.Chip and the guys have always taken great care of us.

Honest, Polite Service. Chip was so kind/polite and honest! He definitely went the extra mile and is unlike any other mechanic I have ever encountered. It can be very difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic! This place is AWESOME.

The Best Mechanics. Ive been a costumer of Japanese Autoworks for more than 12 years. I trust NOONE else to look at my vehicles. I can call Chip tell him what my car is doing or what it sounds like and he knows exactly whats wrong with it. Prices are comparable to other places if not cheaper. If you go here you will be a lifelong costumer.

Good service, friendly staff.. I have been taking our cars to Japanese Autoworks for 3 years. I moved to Lexington (away from my family member mechanics) and the first time my car needed service I was worried about taking it to someone new. They charged me a fair price (my uncle guessed how much it would be for parts and labor- exactly what I was charged) and did a great job. They have gotten all my repairs done in under a day and keep track of my service records.

Great reliable, friendly service!!. I have been taking my Honda's to Japanese Autoworks for 8 years and couldn't be more pleased with the service. Driving 50,000 miles a year, I was in there usually once a month for an oil change. They kept all service records and would tell me when something was due (of course they asked me first if I wanted to have it done.)

Japanese Autoworks is a very professional, fair mechanic shop. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.

Would avoid this shop. I have a1997 maxima, it takes 45 minutes to remove the alternator and replace it, i've done it before. Apparently you have to disassemble the entire bottom right of the car to get it in the opinion of one shop tech over the phone.

Now that i have it replaced (by myself) I see it took me about an hour and a half (my first time doing this repair) and all i had to do is remove the idler tension pulley, remove the 4 bolts holding on the AC compressor and swing it out of the way, and what do you know, i have the job done, all while laying on my back in the school parking lot in the snow.

If you want to torch your wallet to smithereins, go to japanese auto works.

otherwise learn to work on your car yourself. or go elsewhere.
