wedding reception. I just wanted to say that if you are planning a wedding reception this is the place to go. The Ballroom is very elegant in which we quickly fell in love with it. Then we meet Heather, she help us so much that words cannot even describe. Meeting Heather helped us to seal the deal. She knows her job very well and is always available for your questions and concerns. My daughter wanted me to be the wedding planner and I was very nervous about this, but with Heather helping me, it not difficult at all. Her personality is very pleasant and she is very helpful. The wedding is coming up soon and I will update you on how it went.
Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Classic rooms, All-in-one, Convenient to everything, a nice night away.
I am not overwhelmed with the service at Campbell House, just because I had driven a long way, was very tired and the desk clerk looked right past me to wait on the well-dressed man behind me... started off on the wrong foot. HOWEVER, once I got in, I really like this place. My room was nice - it is an older hotel, which means the bathrooms aren't huge, but they are just fine, clean and nicely tiled and decorated. They have kept things classic adn traditional here, and i don't feel like i'm in a "chain" hotel when i stay here. Not wild about their restaurant, I think their buffet is really expensive and not that great - I was not pleased with the service there or the food. I found Bogart's to be alot of fun, with a really fun live band and a good mix of people there. They played all night with few short breaks, and the band even came out into the crowd and talked to everyone, it was really great.
I'll definitely stay here again.
wonderful stay. I have been staying at the Campbell house for years and it only gets better. The rooms are so beautiful and the beds and bedding are heavenly. The restaurant has excellent food and service. The new bar/club added is great. The live music is always good. I tell everyone I know that when their in Lexington that this is where you want to stay. It's great location for downtown activities and you can be to the Fayette mall in 10 minutes.
The Campbell House A Deal thats a Steal.
The Campbell House was such a pleasant surprise. The renovations although not 100% complete were fantastic, the staff seems excited about future changes including the addition of another bar/lounge above Bogarts. The addition of an outside smoking section in the near future will help appease the outcasts that are forced to leave the building now.
Only real problem is that our restroom was small. Next time I'll upgrade to a room with a larger one.
