Scotty has done 2 large tats for me and one small one, and they are excellent and at a good price. I have driven from norther West Virginia twice to see Scotty, and well worth the trip.

Had to get it fixed :(. I was originally going to Tattoo Charlies since my husband has gotten 2 wonderful tattoos there. My mother in law was going to see Scotty and I went too. Scotty wasn't there but Conn talked me into getting the one I wanted with him. It looked awful. It was blotchy and kind of embarrassing. I went to Tattoo Charlies and got it fixed 2 days ago and wish I would have went there to begin with. I DO NOT recommend them! Now that I am a nurse (was not at the time when Conn did my tat) and they were not as sanitary as Charlies. I hope my review helps someone.

Nice tat work but poor customer service. I had been recommended this shop and have a close relative get work here done years ago with great results so I went to them for my tattoo. They were very friendly but were a bit insensitive to the struggle I was going through that my tattoo was representative of so later that evening I sent them a polite email to let them know how happy I was with my tattoo but that their unintentional insensitivity had stung a bit. I got an email back telling me to "lighten up". I emailed again saying I was just trying to give them a heads up on how they could be a little more sensitive to their customers and received back an email telling me to find another shop for future work and "quit taking my problems out on others". Nice customer service. If this is how they react to polite constructive criticism I would hate to see their response to a truly irate customer.

Conn rocks!!. I love this shop! I drive all the way from Central New York just to get work done by Conn. I got my nosed pierced there as well, and was very nervous. The woman that does the piercings calmed me down and it came out perfect! I will continue to drive to KY to see Conn! Wonderful free hand work, does exactly what you want, and he fixed 2 tattoos that I wasn't happy with I had done here in NY, I can't say enough! Very clean shop, appt was on time, and everyone is very nice!

I stop in there to say hi even if I'm not getting work done. See you next month guys for more work!

awsome. ive gotten 2 piercings here & i had a great experience the ppl are nice very clean & professional i plan on going to get my first tattoo done here also

ewwwwwwwwww. these people SUCK

theyre wayyy over priced, the chick that does piercings looks f_cked up all the time, you tell scotty to do one thing and he goes totally different; you shouldnt do that unless the customer ask in my oppinion. ive seen him do HORRIBLE work. there are sooooo many better tattoo artist in lexington and its dirty.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!1. they for real had a 15 yr old doing tattoo work! they are really dirty, messed up my calf sooo bad. everyone is like wtf and can;t really find any good cover up tats unless i get a whole sleeve on my leg. they won't do free touch ups either they say $25 just to pay for the needle... seeing as needles are about $1 including tubing and a pair of gloves. they are crooks. stay away. there is a reason they haven't relocated to a better/more accessible area. and piercings are bad bad bad. just go somewhere else. not this place or sullen ink. any where else is cool

Great. I got a great tattoo done by C*nn. Great price and great people. Like I said in the cons area the tattoo chair I layed in wasn't very comfortable for the tattoo I was getting on my calf but I took a couple breaks and it was fine. Its one of my new favorite tattoos. Thanks to everyone there!

@ralestothewall: Almost sounds like those as*holes at castle of color paid you to say this. I've had nothing but problems over there.

f*cked up tattoo work. got a tat by c*nn it sucked bad. must have been drunk. place was filthy i should have ran. had to go get antibiotics. owner tried to fix FOR A FEE! it was worse, and had to go to doctor again, and i am a clean person. then c*nns wife showed up raising hell and fighting like a moron. STAY AWAY! FINALLY WENT TO A CHICK NAMED SARAH at castle of colors and she covered it comepletely up, and made my nightmare go away. i am their client for life now
