Delicious!. The food was fantastic! It came out hot and it had wonderful flavor. I'll be back...
DELICIOUS!. I honestly feel from the depths of my soul, this is what Angels eat in Heaven. EVERYTHING on their menu is down right DELICIOUS! My usual is the Cedar Plank Salmon but you can't go wrong with their Baja Fish Tacos. I have never had a bad experience and I will always continue to come here.
Dissapointing. For years The Ketch was a fantastic restaurant. We stopped going after our last several visits left us disappointed with both the food & service. Hopefully the management can get a handle on their business & return it to its' former level of quality.
food is excellent. Excellent food, unique variation on menu. However, I was disappointed with the service the times I've been there. Hope they do something about the service because the food is well worth the price
Really?. I work at this restaurant. Ok mothers day we were allowed no special orders, due to the fact that our kitchen manager was out of town for a wedding. We are a locally owned business, and DO run out of things, because the things we receive are ( believe it or not), fresh. We take things back to the kitchen when people complain about them, not because we intend to reserve anything, but because a customer shouldn't get to eat what they've complained about. And FYI, the manager was not asked to come talk to you, you just left a nasty note on your poor servers credit card slip. The ketch is a family owned, great place, that doesn't deserve a bad review due to a faulty retelling of a medicre dining experience.
Bad Mothers' Day Experience. Took my mom and dad out for Mothers' Day -- and utterly failed to provide them with a nice experience. My dad and I were asked to re-order our food because they were "out" of our orginal order. And my mom wanted a combination of items not on the menu... I offered to pay extra, to order separate things a la carte, whatever was needed to give her the meal she wanted on Mothers' Day. They said okay... but then when the food came out it wasn't what she ordere. They refused to fix it, manager refused to even speak to us. Horrible horrible experience.
Barely a Notch Above Red Lobster. Since I hate what Dead Lobster does to seafood, I wanted to try a local, indie place for crab & shrimp. The Ketch was unfortunately, a disappointment. My peel-n-eat shrimp were overcooked & suffered from sitting in the fridge too long (order them warm if you do), my salad below-pedestrian. The seafood bucket was passable only because they hardly did anything to it besides boiling in Old Bay. The marinara sauce for my fried calamari was nasty, tasted like ketchup mixed w/ dishwater & grease. The unattentive server took it back & brought out another container of the same. Never thought I'd miss Joe's Crab Shack.
