very friendly and helpful

I went to Ali Baba today to look around and possibly pick up a few ingredients. From what I understand, I also heard they have a new owner. Everyone there was very friendly. The man knew exactly what I needed and where they were. I got ingredients for chicken tikka masala, and it came out to be amazing. Also, their meat was very fresh. I thought it would be fun to try something new, and I liked it! I plan on going back!

Agree with neutral2, really bad

The staff who prepare the meat communicate badly with people, she always ask you to cut your meat by yourself if you don't like it the way how it cut. Also, do not answer question about the availability of certain items.

Anyway, You can always contact the Feds at the Consumer's Information Branch 1-866-461-3222--they will be able to tell you what to do in case of expired items or contaminated food --if they don't handle it themselves.

Hi neutral2, I agree with you on the bad treatment. Also, some items have been already expired or you may also find some items with no expiry date.

You can always report any spoild food or expired or have insect in it to the Kentucky Local Health Department.

VERY BAD TREATMENT rud

Bad place to shop at. If you are not in need for some middle eastern items and can do your shoping at a place where are professional customer service, do not shop there. Different prices each time, some snaks contain insects and others are expired, and I don't know if the law allow them to sell their items based on a verbaly pronounced price upon your question to them "how much is this item?" rather than a posted lable. Anyone have any idea about the law?

Also when the items are spoiled, contaminated, or expired, what is the department that control these issues in Kentucky? anyone knows?

Just an advice to not waste your money on expired items and always pay attention to the prices.

Bad Behaviour

It was a very bad experience with the people who work. They are bit arrogant. If you got any kind of preference in your meat size and request them they will not say they can't do it but they suggest you to cut your own meat. People will not expect this from them and even the owner also support them, I felt embarrassed with the behaviour and never went back. I rate them "0".
