I was with a friend on 10/6/12 and she had an appointment. I cannot recommend this place to anyone - dresses all dirty, torn, snags in them. What was unbelievable - they were selling the dresses as-is and no alterations. The store was dirty, as were the bride dresses. This place appeared to be in a going-out-of business situation, which if that is true - would have been better for the sales persons to offer that.

great customer service. I came here to look at wedding dresses, after going to large bridal warehouses in surrounding cities, searching for the perfect dress. The Wedding Center is not one of those huge stores that you will feel overwhelmed in, with no guidance. Their selection is outstanding!

EVERY staff person is knowldegable, helpful and considerate. They keep up with the latest designers and have a huge selection of bridesmaids, mother of the brides dresses and even shoes, veils and jewelry.

I never felt their pressure to 'make a sale' but rather they wanted me to be happy with my purchase. I stressed about my delivery date and they made sure it was sent in more than enough time for alterations. Their hours make it easy to get there even if you work in the day, and they made sure to always keep me notified on the status of my order. They had my dress steamed and ready for me to pick only hours after it being delivered to them.

I would recommend this store to anyone needing bridal/prom help. These ladies are amazing!

Openminded brides :). I am a bride that went to the wedding center open minded on what i wanted for my wedding. The staff couldn't of made me feel more welcome from the moment i walked in the door. I was greeted with smiling faces, cake samples, along with a hundred gowns to choose from. My consultant took gowns from me, hung them, and assisted me in getting dressed. I didn't feel pressured, but as though they truly wanted me to look my very best! I was able to book my whole wedding party with the wedding center from my gown, tuxedo rentals, to the most beautiful bridesmaid gowns i have seen in the area! Other shops in the metropolitan area did not offer as good a selection, or have nearly the service i was provided with. I would recommend anyone goes to this shop!

Brides beware!. Brides do not let this circus that claims to be in the tuxedo rental business handle your wedding! Every member of my daughters wedding had issues with their tux! One received a soiled shirt and when asked for a replacement was sent a shirt sleeve length 6" to long. The same groomsman tied his shoes ar the wedding and the shoestrings broke! Ring bearer was sent trousers for a man that weren't even hemmed! Father of the grooms pants were 6" to short, need I go on. in the end, they were all corrected, but having most of the bridal party out of town, we didn't need the TWO day hassles and deserved better. Their response....if it makes you feel better the oerson no longer works here....NO...it didn't make me feel better because I was left to fix their mess.

great selection and service. I really enjoyed my experience at The Wedding Center. My consultant was great and really cared about finding a gown in my budget and the style I looked best in. There were so many designers and styles to choose from, but she picked great samples for me. I ordered my gown and after 5 months it came in perfect and fit me great! I would highly suggest this store to any friend!

GREAT!!!!!. I've bought 2 gowns from this store.

I've always had great service.

My friend and I went in just to try on some gowns to dream about our weddings and got a lot of help.

The staff is very friendly.

I would highly recommend this store!

Wonderful Atmosphere and Staff. Recently, I visited the Wedding Center in search for my dream gown. The staff were very helpful, and the stage makes it feel like a fahsion show! There was a great selection and I was able to find the perfect dress. I will be visiting again for my bridesmaid dresses and cannot wait!

Loved this store!. I had a great experience in this store! The staff were wonderful to work with and their selection of gowns were amazing. I went on a Saturday and they were so busy. I had my own consultant and she helped me select gowns that I liked and she suggested many as well. There were 2 other brides and myself sharing the stage area. Each one of the brides had their own consultant. We had a blast! It was like a mini fashion show! My friends loved seeing all the gowns and all of the brides gave each other help. We even took turns trying on the same gowns. All of us enjoyed ourselves and all three of us ordered our gowns! Next we will find the brides maids. I will be going back to the Wedding Center because they were so great to work with.

GREAT SERVICE AND STAFF. I went and recently purchased a Prom gown from the Wedding center! I had Greatd service and the staff helped me pick the best gown to fit my body type and hair style! Not only did i get the dress of my dreams for my senior prom but i they helped me with my hair also i got a tuxedo for my date! This store gave me the whole package and i urge all of my friends at school and family to go and check this GREAT store out!

worst service i've ever experienced. my best friend was getting married and i was the maid of honor, so of course, i was helping her find her perfect wedding dress. she was from richmond, so she wasn't that familiar with the lexington bridal shops so it was my job to navigate her around town to different shops. when we got to lena's i kept saying to her "they have so much selection, you're going to love it!" well i was so wrong! we walked in and no one would help us. my best friend got married when she was 19 and i was 19 also, so the employees treated us like we had no business being in there! they acted like we were just two teenagers that didn't have anything better to do with our saturday except to try on wedding dresses for fun, even though my friend told them her wedding date and discusses all her plans with them (where the wedding would be, what day, etc...). none of the workers would help her try on dresses or even pull them from the racks, so i had to do all that as well. every time we tried to get some help they completely ignored us. we got so mad that we left all the dresses that my friend was trying on in the dressing room and left. i would never reccommend this place to anyone! now i'm getting married and i know where i will NOT be going to look for a dress!
