Friday night.
Lexington has no shortage of restaurants, yet Fridays always see a long wait time. I went last Friday around 6pm, after seeing a long line at Olive Garden. My family and I got in and out without waiting. The server was exceptional, prompt, and attentive. Bread was a little late coming out, but still worth it. The prices are what you would expect coming from an authentic Italian restaurant that offers traditional Italian family size portions. You can't go wrong with the food. I have loved Bella Notte since it came to Lexington when I was a teenager. It had been a long time since my last visit, and I was still impressed after all these years. I'm 36 years old now.

Fazzoli's anyone?.
The atmosphere is very nice. The prices aren't that high and the service was good. Surfs Up! There is plenty of parking since they also own the Surf's Up Grill.

Awesome restaurant.
Belle Notte is my favorite restaurant in Lexington. The food is great, especially their fettucine alfredo. (For dessert, Belle Sundae... incredible!) They have changing seasonal menu items, which provides a nice variety. Prices are decent, especially for the quality of food you get. Ambience is good, though if you're seated in the main dining area, it can be a little noisy. But the back room is great for private meals. Service is usually prompt and friendly - I've only gotten a sour waiter once in six years of going there. I always take my family/friends when they come from out-of-town! I definitely recommend going.

Average Place.
This is yet another average restaurant in Lexington. If you are going out with a group and fun is more important than food quality, then this is your place. Very poor wine list.
