Very Good Food, Old Kentucky Charm

The Merrick Inn is a delightful place for a relaxing dinner. My wife and I have dined here a few times and have never been diappointed. The food is well prepared, the atmosphere is charming, the service very good, but the drinks are watered. (Twice we've ordered martinis that came from the bar tasting more of ice and water than the Belvedere Vodka we had ordered.)

For a less expensive and (perhaps even more) enjoyable dinner, the Merrick patio in summer/autumn is delighful. The menu is different, but the prices are lower and the food is just as good.
