My husband and I went there and my tattoo turned out great but my husbands is horrible! The guy who did it was leaving soon (so he said) and I think he just didn't care! The lines are not clean and the shading is so bad!! We are going to have to go somewhere else to get it fixed , that is if it even can be fixed! We called back to see if someone could fix it for us but we never got a call back.

Great first Tattoo experience. I had my very first tattoo done by Mikey last Saturday. He did a great Chinese Dragon on my leg. He tweaked the colors and added much more detail than my drawing offered. He talked me through each step, made sure I was comfortable, and exceeded all my expectations. His wife Sara was very helpful helping my wife with a design, and Greg, the owner was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome and relaxed as we waited for my turn with Mikey. I highly recommend them all for a great experience. I'll be back for more.

They are awesome. Veryyy clean and sterile. Have many artist avalible. Very friendly and fair priced.

Not a custom shop. I have a 1/4 sleeve by Sara. Looked fabulous, for a while. Looked horrible after a month. This piece is consistently advertised by castle of color. But the pic you see is right after being worked on and not after healing. Always make sure you know what an artist's healed work looks like. Sara didn't respond to many requests to touch this up. Now she is doing a very similar piece on another lady. So similar this lady would try and hide it from me. Custom work my foot! Go here if you want to get a cheap piece or a piece that your artist will reproduce.

very sanitary, friendly, knowledgeable,tattoo and piercing establishment. CLEAN AS A HOSPITAL!. i cant say enough good things about this tattoo establishment. ive been in a bunch of 'em, and this one is,for lack of a better word, AMAZING! it is a top- notch shop and they are very TALENTED at what they do... THEY REALLY TREAT YOU WELL, WHICH IS RARE, as artists seem to be a "different breed" and can be brash or rude.. .(if you have been in enough tattoo parlors, you know what i mean!)... go to CASTLE OF COLOR and get inked at a FAIR PRICE with HIGH- CLASS, TOP- NOTCH, ART-WORK DONE ON YOU! i think they are twice as talented as anyone in town.. and ive tried most of them in central ky,. and ran out of more than one or two!! highly recommended. VERY, VERY SAFE AND SANITARY AND CLEAN,CLEAN,CLEAN!! 10 OUT OF 10

WOW! AWESOME SKILLS!!. man, this has got to be one of the best parlors in the state if not the usa! talent is great, cleanliness is awesome. i cant say enough good stuff, most important, is the way i was treated, they really want my business, so many of these other shops people think they are rock stars, when in reality their work is mediocre at best. gregg and his staff are righteous and humble as well.. they still strive to improve their shop and skills. also i notice when an artist leaves there, greg seeems to find someone with much more talent than the one that left!! where does he get these guys?! oh yeah his daughter is awesome also, as the nut doesnt fall far from the tree, shes like 21, and better than anyone in town! i wont go anywhere else...ever! susan

castle of color is way ahead of the competition. ive been tattooed heavily over the last 15 years, and these people are heads above the rest in every aspect, especially taking care of their customers, greg the owner, seems to really appreciate you, and goes all out to get you a fantastic tattoo or piercing at a fair price.. definitely the cleanest atmosphere i have ever been in! go there! you will be happy! thanx
