Rude and High Priced. I went in for a tattoo but they wanted double what I paid at underground ink. And their pipes were like $80 bucks for animal pipes other stores sell for $30. Hookahs were freaking expensive too. I'd say go to undergorund for ink and sqecial media or new age for pipes.

where to find the best. chappell howard, previous tattooist for purple haze would like to recommend that you visit bleed blue tattoo, charmed life, or ink blotter, for quality tattoos.

There are better shops in town. I was browsing in Purple Haze one day, and the employee was asking me if there was anything I wanted to purchase. I told said employee that I was just browsing, and would probably check out the prices of some things at other stores to see where I could get the best deal (I don't think that's a big issue... I don't want to buy something only to find out later that I could have gotten it cheaper somewhere else). This employee immediately got an attitude with me, just because I wanted to check out some prices elsewhere. If they were nice to me, then I definitely would have come back if I hadn't found any better deals. Treating your customers like that is not good for business.

Turns out, though, that browsing around at other stores was a good idea. I came to realize that Purple Haze jacks their prices up on their merchandise. You can find the same stuff for significantly cheaper at other stores in Lexington.

I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this place.

Cool Place, Lots of Stuff, Good Prices. Nice place, found everything I was looking for. Fair prices. and I agree with the dude, plz dont bring small children into a store like this.

Maybe you should leave your Toddler at home and not take them into ADULT STORES!!!. The lady that brought her child into my shop, was loving it telling me how nice of a store it was. She was raving about the price of our piercings and then when her child broke my jewelry display and I made her pay for it she got pretty upset. Don't take your children into adult stores, and maybe she should pay attention to her kids.

Unfriendly Service. They did and Ok job on my peircing but were a little over the top when they made me a buy a display case that my baby accidently turned over. There was only a little chip out of the corner and the new case probably didn't cost the full 73 dollars that I had to pay for it. I took the display case home and sold it and now will never go back to that store again! Nothing a little glue and some hard work couldn't have fixed. I think they just wanted a new display case and decided I looked like I could pay for it. Do not recommend there services when you can go somewhere else. To much grief over and accident.
