Open Stand UP MRI / Lexington, KY. I had a 1:45pm appointment today. I arrived at 1:30pm and completed their paperwork by 1:45pm. I then waited...and waited...and waited. At 3:15pm, I asked what delay was and was told they were short one technician. I was then 2nd in line. At 4:00pm, I was still 2nd in line. The 1st in line had been there since 12:00(noon)!!!! As I was leaving, another person waiting commented on me leaving. I told him that I didn't know how long it would yet be with 1 technician short. He asked, "What do you mean? They told me that there was a problem with their contrast controls." They had told 2 different excuses to two different patients!!!! They were inconsiderate to the patients by not immediately informing them upon arrival of their problems. They didn't tell anybody anything until I had gone up to the counter and complained. I wonder if they would have ever said anything?!?! I will inform all physicians that I have of my problems today and recommend that they don't refer their patients to this place!!!
