Great food, good local selections. My wife and I had dinner at Bellinis on Saturday and we both really enjoyed it. The menu had some great selections but my wife and I both selected one of their nightly dinner specials. I had the local chicken, braised in red wine. My wife enjoyed the halibut with a chantrelle mushroom sauce. Both dishes were very good. The service was good too. I think bellinis is one of the best places to eat downtown. Highly recemended!

disappointed. I have to say I have never been more disappointed in a dinning experience. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, and goes directly downhill from there. The service was extremely slow. We had a 8:15pm reservation at 9:40 pm when we received our meals, my scallops were undercooked and shrimp were over cooked. My wife's red snapper had the taste and texture of a fish that had been soaked in saltwater before being served. I am curious what their definition of scampi is because my meal was the farthest thing from it, not to mention the salsa verde sauce on my wife's meal was a pesto with out a hint of a tomatillo in it. All things considered it was by far the absolute worst dining experience that I or my wife have ever had the misfortune to endure.

Missing Something. I am rather suspicious of the other reviews for this establishment, as I have been a diner in some of the finer restaurants in the US and Europe and found Bellini's to be lacking in nearly every area.....from it's tiny, inadequate wine list to it's pasta heavy main menu (have the owner's ever made it to Italia?).

The only positive things I saw were the attractive wait staff (albeit, poorly managed) and the downtown location.

Caveat Emptor.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. A recent trip to Lexington brought me into Bellini's. Make sure you have a reservation as it gets busy during the dinner hours. The cocktails were made with fresh squeezed juice and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was sophisticated and cozy. Our server/bartender was Brian who made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Bellini's to anyone who loves Italian food!

Plucked from Manhattan. Having just here from New York, I was delighted to find Bellini's on par with anything in the Big Apple. The food was sophisticated yet simple and the service was excellent. A bit on the $$$$ side but well worth it.

Still fairly new and absolutely wonderful!. When you walk into Bellini's you feel as if you're walking into a restaurant in Chicago or NYC...The entire staff takes pride in what they offer to the public, everything from the red roses to the fabulous meals. So, if you want a more traditional Italian meal with great service, go to Bellinis!

The best restaurant in town!. I am a regular patron of Bellini's. This establishment has the best Italian food, a remarkable wine list, and flawless service! Also, the best ambiance than any restaurant I've frequented in larger cities! I would reccommend this restaurant to anyone that desires a fabulous dining experience!
