Perfect Pasta.
I swore off ordering pasta in restaurants a long time ago because it always came to the table an overcooked mushy mess. Then I went to Johnny Carinos and let the menu tempt me into ordering a plate of spaghetti, although I was sure I would regret it. Much to my delight and surprise the pasta arrived cooked perfectly al dente. Not only was it cooked well, it tasted wonderful. Perhaps being able to cook noodles seems like a simple thing, but not too many restaurants can do it. Johnny Carinos can.
But should you want more on your plate than noodles they can oblige you. Everything I've tried, from the Fire Stick Appetizers (not as blisteringly hot as the waiter leads you to believe) to the Chicken Parmigiana (without the soggy breading other restaurants are plagued with) to the Turtle Cheesecake, is all wonderful. I highly appreciate the complimentary bread with the herb and olive oil dip that starts your meal off here.
Service has always been good. We've never had to wait very long, though the place is always busy. Atmosphere is fair. Whenever we think of treating ourselves to an evening out, we almost always end up here and we never regret it.

and the winner is!.
Johnny Carino's is definately one of the best chain Italian restraunts. For starters the bread is very good. I also like to add a ceasar salad to my meal. For an appetizer I recommend the Sicilian Fire Sticks with extra ranch! The calamari, and the mozzarella sticks are also very good! For the entrees I recommend the Chicken Parmesian, the Spicy Shrimp and Chicken or the Timballo. Unfortunately, I have never been able to save room for desert. As for the Italian beer I prefer the Peroni. If you like dark beer they also have La Rossa.
