Highly Recommend. Simply love this restaurant! If you haven't yet - give it a try. You will find a new favorite place to enjoy some of the best food Lexington has to offer.

The Best. Merrick Inn manages to be everything you'd ever want in a restaurant: Terrific Bluegrass favorites - especially the filet mignon and the walleye pike; wonderful service and it's a great value. The surroundings are cozy and, when it's warm, their patio is the best ever.

Lexington is super lucky to have a great restaurant like Merrick Inn. The Murray family should be very proud. Every time I've ever been to Merrick Inn, I've been treated like a friend of the family. Now, they're open for lunch and it's incredible. Again, great value for your entertainment dollar.

Run, don't walk, to Merrick Inn. You're sure to have a wonderful time.

Carryout Is Not Very Good. Although I am sure the food and atmosphere at the Merrick Inn are very nice, I would not recommend getting carryout. Their food does not translate from the plate to your home.

The main course was not presented as stated on the menu, nor was it prepared to the correct temperature. They simply forgot to put the appetizer in the bag, but they sure charged me for it. Even the soup contained ingredients that were not described to me, rendering it inedible. The baked potato was the only thing I could eat and at least it was good.

Plus, they put every item in those old fashioned styrofoam containers that are not definitely not eco-friendly.

For $36.50 you would expect a modicum of care and consideration for your food. Not when you order carryout from the Merrick Inn.

great atmosphere. I've have been to the Merrick Inn for years and the food is always great and the atmosphere is a taste of Kentucky, it's very cozy for a relaxing good time whether romantic dinner or an outing with your friends. Service is wonderful!
