Bad all the way around.
I have been to El T's as we call it several times before. Service may have been slow but they usually would get around to us & usually had the same waitress who is usually nice. On 5-3-12 went there & sat for 15 minutes before our waitress came to our table. It was not a busy night, there were 7 people at our table. Had to ask for the same drink twice (water). Later on in order to get refills on drinks one of the people sitting at our table had to call on her cell phone to the host desk & ask them to send someone to our table. When we finally got our food mine only had cheese on one side of the plate (nachos). When I asked her for some cheese to put on the rest of my nachos she either didnt understand what I said or pretended to not understand what I said & brought me the cheese dip which I was charged for. After we were able to start eating I found a hair in my food that was about 4 inches long & covered in grease. When I took the hair (plate of food included) to the manager he only said that it did not belong to any of the cooks & that I was welcome to go look at the cooks in the kitchen if I wanted to. The man never apologized, never offered an explanation other than to deny responsibility. Very poor response - for any business - to be working in the food service industry & act like that is inexcusable. My freinds enjoy going there & I will not miss out on spending time with them due to the poor customer service in that hole, but I will not order food from them again.

The best Mexican Around.
Still the best Mexican food in Lexington. The service is friendly and you cannot beat the value. Happy hour features 2 for 1 margaritas as well.

Best in Town!.
Great family-feel, they are very warm and friendly. 2-for-1 margaritas all the time is nice, too. Get the Nortenos (grilled shrimp wrapped in bacon).

The best chicken chimichangas in Lexington!.
I love mexican food. I have almost been to every mexican restaurant in Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati and when I leave another mexican restaurant I'm usually kicking myself b/c I didn't go to El Toro's instead. I haven't found another restaurant that does Chimichangas like El Toro's! If you haven't tried them ...go! .. if you like spicy!!
